The Life Science Manufacturers Association (LSMA) is a coalition of industry leaders in bioscience innovation and manufacturing. It provides a platform for life science companies to engage with decision-makers and other stakeholders, inform policymaking, and advocate for business environments that foster life science innovation and provide global access to critical technology. LSMA unites leading life science manufacturers to empower the biotechnology and biomanufacturing sectors to address critical challenges, accelerate groundbreaking research, and deliver transformative solutions. This paper outlines LSMA’s vision for the future of biotechnology and biomanufacturing in Europe, emphasizing the importance of a supportive regulatory environment, access to funding, and a skilled workforce, and proposes recommendations for the upcoming European Biotech Act.
