Last week, on 19 June 2026, the Life Science Manufacturers Association (LSMA) held its Annual General Assembly 2026, marking one year since its founding as a dedicated voice for Europe’s life sciences manufacturing base.
In its first year, LSMA established itself as a credible and recognised actor in the EU policy landscape, engaging directly with European institutions, building relationships with peer associations, and contributing technically grounded input on the files that matter most to life sciences manufacturers. Looking ahead, LSMA’s work is organised around three durable priorities: science- and risk-based regulation, the transformation of manufacturing, and Europe’s global competitiveness as a location for life sciences investment.
John Clarke, President of LSMA, said, “LSMA set out a year ago to give manufacturers a clear and credible voice in Brussels. The work done so far reflects that ambition, and the momentum we have built going into 2026 gives me real confidence in what comes next.”
LSMA was built on the conviction that Europe’s life sciences manufacturers needed a home in Brussels. One year in, that conviction is being borne out.
